About EATEL

EATEL supports a network of European research laboratories, groups, companies and people to promote knowledge, education and continuing education in the area of technology-enhanced learning.

We organize and support regular educational and scientific events, such as the annual European Conference on Technology-Enhanced Learning (ECTEL) and a Summer School for postgraduate students.

EATEL facilitates travel grants and offers reduced conference fees to its members. Furthermore, EATEL supports European study programmes related to the topic of technology-enhanced professional learning.

EATEL members benefit from free services, such as FlashMeeting and can join one of our Special Interest Groups.

Objectives

Our Objectives can be summarized as follows:

• to promote research, practice and continuing education in the field of TEL
• to foster co-operation between researchers, providers and users of TEL
• to strive towards the development, conversion and adoption of standards for TEL
• to facilitate the transfer of research results into deployment
