Proposals for Organization : ECTEL 2011

The European Association for Technology Enhanced Learning is pleased to call for proposals for the 6th Conference in 2011. This event will be the latest in the series of this successful and highly competitive event: see e.g. the 5th ECTEL Conference in in Barcelona, Spain (http://www.ectel2010.org).

DEADLINE for Provisional Bids: November 19, 2010.

Short proposals are invited at this point to organize this event. Proposals should be a short 2 page proposal with some indications of the following issues:

Each bid should contain the following information:

• Why EC-TEL’11 in XY?
  • Background on the city / location
  • Background on the organizing group
  • Short bio of local organizers
• Conference Organization
  • Suggested conference date
  • Suggested conference venue and facilities
  • Traveling to/from/in XY (incl. some price information)
  • Lodging/Hotels (incl. some price information)
  • Suggestion for the special event / conference dinner
  • Provisionary Budget, including suggested registration fees

And any other information you feel is relevant. Bidders are STRONGLY encouraged to contact a member of the EATEL executive to discuss possible bids as soon as possible.

A sub committee appointed by the EATEL executive will consider shortlisted bids and provide feedback to the association.
