All EATEL activities have been made possible by the efforts and contributions of the association’s members, in particular those that are active in our Special Interest Groups. By joining EATEL, you help us to ensure that our activities and events can continue.

In return for your membership, you will be part of a network of TEL researchers, providers and students. Via our moderated mailinglist you receive (not too few, not too many) relevant messages and announcements; you will be able to send messages to the list too. Or become active in our SIG’s LinkedIn groups.

As an EATEL member you will receive a discount on the ECTEL conference fees.

A further benefit for EATEL members is free use of the online videoconferencing tool FlashMeeting, developed by the Knowledge Media Institute of the Open University. FlashMeeting has become a very popular tool for online seminars and meetings. Its features include:

• works in any modern browser, no download and installation necessary
• videoconferences with larger groups made easier due to a turn-taking system
• chat, voting, file management, white board
• optional recording and replay
